IS organization via its own news agency (Amaaq) claimed responsibility for Monday's attack on the Al-Rikban camp for displaced Syrians, near the Jordanian borderline, which claimed the lives of a number of civilians and others wounded by the explosion of two car bombs.
Sources in the camp said that an explosion occurred near a restaurant, while the second car targeted the nearby camp’s market, which led to the deaths of at least six civilians, in addition to wounded, some of injuries are serious.
“Amaaq” did not explain the causes of the attack, nor gave details about it. The camp is located near the borderline area between Syria, Iraq and Jordan, and is inhabited by displaced people from southern Syria.
Attacks on the Borderline area
IS organization attacked a Jordanian army checkpoint using a car bomb in June last year, resulting in the deaths and injuries of the Jordanian army, and it was completely close the border, which exacerbated the suffering of the displaced people over there.
