ElDorar AlShamia:

"These missile systems see hostile targets in Syrian airspace, although they do not drop them," Yan Novikov, general manager of the Almaz-Ante, the manufacturer of Russian air defense systems S-300 and S-400 said.

"The aim of these allegations is to defame the Russian anti-aircraft missile systems in Syria," Novikov added, commenting on Western media about the lack of control of the S-300 and S-400 systems in Syria.

Yan Novikov told the newspaper "Rosiskaya Gazeta" on the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Foundation that to monitor the target is one task but to drop it is another matter, while he did not clarify what the reasons that prevent them from dropping the target after monitoring.

He added that the Western news about reported on the inability of Russian air defense systems could come in the face of rival products.

Russia has deployed its most advanced air defense systems in Syria, but Assad's army has consistently been subjected to US raids in Deir al-Zour and Shayrat in Homs and near the southern border crossing, and Israeli raids are constantly being attacked without any response..
