FSA’s Commanders illustrate the Objectives of the new Joint Operations Room

ElDorar network interviewed multiple and reliable sources of 17 revolutionary factions affiliated with the Free Syrian Army intend to announce the formation of a comprehensive operations room comprising those factions deployed in Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and the Syrian coast area.

The sources reported to ElDorar network earlier that the factions need only one meeting to announce officially after intensive meetings lasted for weeks, and discussed the structure and strategy of action during which.

For more detailed information, ElDorar network interviewed leaders of the "Free Syrian Army" from several factions, during which they discussed the reasons of formation, objectives and problematic points presented by some media outlets.

"First lieutenant Iyad al-Homsi”, the military spokesman of Jaysh al-Naser said that most of the Syrian Free Army factions have been working for a long time on the issue to unite efforts and launch large-scale military operations against the Syrian regime in the north and the coast area of Syria passing on Hama. The Syrian revolution, stressing that the newspaper wants its reports to "broadcast toxins" and "fueling inter-factional fighting," reiterating that the joint room’s main objective is to fight the Assad forces, recalling the position of the factions of the Free Syrian Army in Astana and Geneva rejecting to target HTS at all. "

Abu Hamza al-Arends, the commander of the First Regiment, denied that the formation of the operations room came under US pressure for the continuation of military and financial support. He pointed out that it came after an initiative of the faction leaders and encouraged by some friendly countries and will focus on fighting the Syrian regime make the frontlines stronger and to protect Civilians mainly.

HTS has many frontlines fighting against the Assad forces so if it is formally made such a room, we will take parts on the frontlines against Assad forces too , our fighting also to focus on the Syrian regime and prevent it from obtaining any new military gains” al-Arends said as he was asked about his position for HTS.

According to the sources, the most prominent factions in this formation is the "Faylaq al-Sham, Jaysh al-Ezzah, Jaysh al-Naser, al-Jabha Shamia and Jaysh al-Mujahideen," and nominations indicate that the Commander of Faylaq al-Sham, "Colonel Fadlullah Naji" will lead the proposed operations room.
