Failaq al-Rahman announces the neutralization of diplomatic missions and places of worship places from Damascus battles

Failaq al-Rahman announced on Tuesday that it is committed to the law of armed conflict and all international norms related to fighting, especially the neutralization of diplomatic missions and places of worship in the ongoing battles in the capital Damascus.

Failaq al-Rahman issued a statement on behalf of the Spokesman Waiel Olwan, in which he affirmed the neutrality of civilians of any religion, sect or opinion, neutralizing the diplomatic missions and buildings allocated to them, as well as neutralizing the places of worship and its symbols and those responsible of it from the direct and indirect fire launched during the battles at the entrance to Damascus that aim to stop Assad forces attacks against the neighborhoods of Barzah, Qabun and Tishreen.

The spokesman also stressed their commitment to the good treatment of prisoners and the bodies of the dead and not to insult or harm them, and to work to secure and protect medical staff and civil defense crews and all humanitarian and media groups.

It is noteworthy that the factions "Ahrar Sham, Failaq al-Rahman and Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham" have launched an attack against Assad-held areas in the city of Damascus began days ago, which managed to control the industrial city and textile factory and garages of the Abbasids, as well as fire control of Fares Khoury Street.
