Saudi Arabia has rejected Russia's proposed initiatives regarding Syria, specifically creating an international coalition involving the Assad regime in order to fight IS militants.
This came in a press statement, the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the United Nations meetings, which has vowed to "al-Assad," a military solution if he does not step down from power, saying: "Either Assad to step down or face a military option."
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and France are the most important States adhering to the demand for the departure of Assad, but that Saudi Arabia was the stringent one, where stressed more than once on the lips of "al-Jubeir" that an military solution is upcoming in in case Assad will not step down peacefully.
