"Shin Bet" Officer killed on Gaza border line

Identical media sources revealed that a General Security officer of the Israeli "Shin Bet" on the border of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in conditions described as "mysterious".
The (Yedioth Ahronoth) newspaper published in its Wednesday edition piece of news stating that "the killing of a member of the General Security Service, the (Shin Bet) staff where it is believed that his death came on the backdrop of fire came from Gaza."
The newspaper added: "The process of killing and its style are still under investigation, taking into account the hypothesis of wrong shootings , or the breakdown of his gun  caused a bullet killing himself."
The newspaper pointed out that "the officer in the Shin Bet, was doing a security job on the border with the Gaza Strip, in light of the security threats in the region."
The official Hebrew radio said today: "The General Security Service Shin Bet admitted the murder of one of its members during a security activity in the security fence surrounding the Gaza Strip area yesterday," the radio said: "General Security Service continues to investigate the circumstances of the incident."
The border line with the Gaza Strip seen  an expanded security activity, to search for the possibility of an extension tunnels dug by Hamas at Israeli settlements, the  Shin Bet security agency is assigned to deal with collecting information in the Palestinian territories, and doing special operations of spying and recruiting clients.
