Pro Assad's regime Media has published a footage shows Assad's capture of civilians and fighters from the Qaboun district of the Syrian capital Damascus on Wednesday as they were evacuated from the neighborhood.
An unknown number of residents of the neighborhood were in the grip of the Assad forces, because they could not catch buses for each. Some of them took other buses that they thought were meant to get them out, ElDorar’s correspondent confirmed.
There were conflicting reports that they were released and women with children have been deported to Idlib, while the men been arrested and sent to Jobar front lines.
Today, the latest stage of the forced displacement of the population of Qaboun comes to an end, after a long period of siege imposed on and shelling, and after considerable progress made by the revolutionary factions in Damascus neighborhoods over the past months, but the use of the scorched earth policy by the Assad forces and the growing infighting erupted between the factions have brought down the neighborhood.
