ElDorar AlShamia:

The Lebanese Future Movement bloc called Tuesday on the Lebanese government and its military and security institutions to redeploy and concentrate on all the eastern borders in order to protect Lebanese territory.

"After Hezbollah's partial and limited redeployments in the Tafil area on the Lebanese-Syrian border, this opportunity should be embraced," the bloc said in a statement after its meeting.

"The Lebanese legitimacy must be immediately restored to its role and authority over the part of Hezbollah has withdrawn from; in preparation for the restoration of full state authority over the entire eastern Lebanese border." The statement added.

The bloc pointed out that the Lebanon state and its military and security forces to restore their role reflects Lebanon's full commitment to international resolutions, particularly resolution 1701, in all its aspects.

The Future Movement expressed its deep sorrow over the failure of Hezbollah to deny the occasion and its opportunity to build on that achievement to promote harmony and civil peace among the Lebanese people in the year 2000.
