Abdulrahman Al Sudais, the Imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques described Mohammad bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince, on Monday as “a man of achievements.. and difficult feats”.

Al Sudais praised what he described as the achievements of the Saudi Crown Prince in a meeting held with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his son, the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, which was also attended by a number of imams at the Al Safa palace in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The meeting fell on the anniversary of Mohammad bin Salman’s tenure as Crown Prince, which Al Sudais described as being ‘blessed’.

On the achievements of Mohammad bin Salman, Sudais said: “The multiple achievements of His Highness indicate his awareness and sense of the demands of the Saudi people and the close relationship between the [royal] family and the great people [of Saudi Arabia].”

Al Sudais added: “The efforts and steps taken to create improvements did not occur overnight but were rather the result of [his] bright and well thought out idea, plans and reflections, his hope for the future aspirations of a prosperous country and his genius vision. These steps were rooted in the confidence of God first… and then the basic pillars upon which this blessed nation was built.”

Separately, in September last year, Al Sudais described the United States as an advocate and leader of world peace.
