The Syrian regime imposed a commercial crossing separating its held areas in the capital Damascus of the liberated areas in Daraa governorate to supervise the entry and exit of goods in order to collect fees and taxes.

The crossing was approved in the town of Khirbet Ghazala controlled by the regime, and collecting high fees and taxes from cars loaded with goods that want to cross into the liberated areas in Daraa will start soon, ElDorar’s correspondent confirmed.

According to a list of fees ElDorar network has had that the regime put very high taxes on the passage of vehicles carrying food sometimes up to 700 thousand Syrian pounds (more than 1300 US dollars) per car.

This move comes after the great progress of the revolutionary factions made in al-Manshiyya district, the last stronghold of the Assad forces in the city of Daraa and that they are close to seize over the district totally as the regime is hopless to reopen the Nasib border crossing with Jordan.
