Pro Assad regime social networking pages and news networks were full of news about a group of girls from the Al-Zahra neighborhood of Homs were kidnaped and been rapped by a leader of the National Defense Army, who is in charge of a military point on the Homs-Farqalis road.

Abu Sakhr Al-Alawi kidnapped three girls from the neighborhood last Saturday and took them to an abandoned house on the road of the village of Farqalis, and raped them to leave life later, according to media information.

At the request of the families of the victims, forces of the Syrian regime searched for the culprit and the bodies of the three girls inside the abandoned house. During the interrogation, Abu Sakhr justified his act as "I believe that the girls from the Sunni community"

The militias loyal to the Syrian regime-held areas of Homs and Lattakia in particular have experienced frequent attacks, kidnappings and rapes, because of the militias full power and the absence of the role of the civilian police.
