The head of the Center for Studies and Documentation in the city of Palmyra, "Nasser Abdul Aziz" said that Russian ships docked at the port of Tartous, carrying on board full plants for the extraction and production of phosphate, in preparation for transfer to the south-west of the city of Palmyra.

Abdul Aziz said in statements to the site "all partners", that the plants will be directed to the mines of phosphates Eastern and Western, known as Sawana, and Khanivis, in the southwest of Palmyra, 45 km, and under the control of the IS organization, adding that the plants are fully equipped, washing and drying, and all that is necessary to extract and export phosphate.

The director of the center, quoting his own sources, that the officers of Russia and Iran are planning a major battle to control the mines, similar to the last battle to regain Palmyr, and will be announced in the coming days, after they finish the mobilization of the so-called "Fifth Corps", which will play a key role in the battle with other supporting militias as the "Fatimiyun Brigade" and the militia of "Hezbollah" with the support of the Russian occupation aircraft.

It should be noted that Iran has gained economic benefits from the Syrian regime, on the backdrop of its support, the most important of which is granting Iran five thousand hectares of land for agriculture, and a thousand hectares for the establishment of ports of oil and gas, and the Eastern Phosphate Mines, giving them the advantage of opening a cellular network.
