"Bombing terrorists' headquarters and exploding their chemical weapons, this is an honor for you and a disgrace for NATO," Suleiman posted on his Facebook account.

The Russian Defense Ministry denied the responsibility of the Syrian regime for the massacre and said: The raids by the Assad aircraft had targeted a factory and a stockpile of chemical weapons and ammunition, managed by "terrorist groups" in Khan Shaikhoun used in the attacks.

For his part, Hussein Murtada, director of the Arabic-language Iranian-language TV channel Al-Alam, accused the Jabhat al-Nusra and its allies of being behind the attack in order to mix the cards and accused Israel of complicity in the attack.
