ElDorar AlShamia:

The General Commission of Eastern Ghouta considered that the recent violations witnessed in Syria and the military escalation targeting liberated areas have destroyed any hope of a political solution.

The Commission issued a statement on Tuesday, stating that "the Eastern Gouta is subjected to an unprecedented military escalation by the Russian occupation warplanes and the Iranian occupation militias targeting residential neighborhoods, population centers and vital facilities away from the frontlines after failing to cause any breach on the fronts of the Free Syrian Army ".

"The use of chemical weapons again and the continued siege of more than 400,000 civilians and the prevention of food and medicine on them will eliminate any hope of a political solution.

Secondly, it is the responsibility of the UN Security Council, the United Nations, its Secretary General, Special Envoy and humanitarian organizations to stop this dangerous escalation and protect the civilians from the Holocaust that the Russian and Iranian occupation seeks against the Syrians in general and the people of Eastern Ghouta area in particular" the statement added.

It should be noted that the eastern Ghouta witnessed during the past two days heavy air bombardment of most its cities and towns; resulting in dozens of dead and wounded among civilians.
