Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a speech Monday that his country is preparing for new operations in Syria against "terrorist organizations" and that his country is preparing to "attack" these organizations in other parts of northern Syria.

"The new operations will have other names, and surprises for all terrorist organizations, PKK, YPG, IS and Gulen, and the coming months will be a spring for Turkey and its people, and a black winter for the terrorists," Erdogan said in a speech in the Turkish state of Trabzon.

He considered that with the control of the city of al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo, the first phase of the Euphrates Shield operation ended, and there will be subsequent operations without specifying the areas and targets accurately.

The Turkish Prime Minister, "Ben Ali Yildirim" confirmed later, the end of the operation of the Euphrates Shield after having achieved great successes in the "fight against terrorism" and that his country will carry out operations with new names if necessary.
