The air strikes launched by Russian warplane on Sunday resulted in getting the largest and best hospital in the north of Syria out of service and the injury of its medical cadres of varying degrees of severity.

Eldorar correspondent confirmed that three air raids targeted the national hospital in Ma'arat al-Nu'man in Southern Idlib, which is supported by the Syrian American Medical Society- SAMS. It is the largest and best-equipped hospital in the north, providing medical services for 60-80,000 patients annually .

The correspondent added that the hospital went out of service, especially the departments of obstetrics and ambulances temporarily as a result of the damage suffered and the injury of a number of the medical staff, but the supporting organization so far did not comment or condemn the targeting.

The Syrian regime and its ally Russia, target the medical sector in areas out of their control. The Union of Relief and Medical Care Organizations in Syria counted the number of hospitals, centers and medical points that were bombed during the last year 2016, of more than 107 center.
