“Revolution Commando” New Military Formation to fight IS group of Palmyra

Military groups of the dissolved “New Syra’s Army” announced a few days ago the formation of a military faction to fight IS Group in region of Syria’s desert  under the name of "Revolution Commando" or (Feda’I al-Thawra”.

Military sources said that the faction has been working with the new Syrian Army before its dissolution and re-unify to operate  within the new military entity supported by the US-led international coalition; where it will be active in the desert area , Palmyra and Homs.

It contains, according to sources: “Ahmed Abdo Union ,Osoud al-Sharqya, army are free clans, in addition to the brigade of al-Qaryateen, and it will be armed and supported on air and ground by the US-led international coalition.

It should be noted that the “New Syria’s Army”, which follows the “al-Asala &al-Tanmya front” was dissolved after the losses suffered in battles against IS group on the Syrian-Iraqi border and near the Al Tanf border crossing.
