Jubair: the position of the Saudi toward al-Assad will never Change

The Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir on Monday said that his country's position on the Syrian crisis and to Bashar al-Assad will not change.

He said, "Jubeir:" The Saudi position is to insist that there is no role in the future for Bashar al-Assad in Syria and to continue to support the Syrian opposition moderate.
This came in a joint press conference held by the Saudi foreign minister with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Sochi, and carried by the Saudi Press Agency, on Monday.
The Saudi minister stressed that the best solution in Syria is to built on the principles of a political solution of Understanding (Geneva 1), which calls for the establishment of a transitional authority of the regime and the opposition are managing the country's affairs and prepare for new elections and a new constitution and step down Assad.

Jubeir forward to find the right solution to Syria which guarantees the unity of the country and maintains military and civilian institutions and preserves the rights of all its people.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Crown, Second Deputy Prime Minister and the Saudi defense minister held a meeting yesterday with the Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the Syrian crisis.
