Formation of a joint operations room between the "al- Rahman Corps " and "Army of Islam" in the Ghouta

Al-Rahman Corps announced on Wednesday the formation of a joint operations room with the Army of Islam in East Ghouta in Rif Dimashq Province in order to unify the military action.

The Legion said in a statement posted on its official website: "Given the circumstances experienced by the Syrian Revolution in general especially the Eastern Ghouta and according to the basis of the floor and group unity it’s announced the formation of a joint operations room with the Army of Islam."
The statement pointed out that the aim of the joint room is to unify the military decision and coordination on all fronts in the East Ghouta, in addition to developing military strategies that are appropriate to the current stage.
It is noteworthy that several factions fighting in the eastern Ghouta notably: "Army of Islam" and "Islamic Union for Ajnad al-Sham", in addition to the "Ahrar al-Sham" Islamic Legion "Rahman" and "al-Habib al-Mustafa brigades ," announced at the end of August 2014 for the formation of a unified command for all the factions military fighting the Assad regime in the region.
