Iranian media sources revealed on Tuesday that four Iranians officers killed in Aleppo yesterday during the ongoing battles to break the siege of Aleppo.
The sources confirmed the death of an officer of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) and another officer of the packing "Basij" forces, and two officers from the Iranian army, one captain and one lieutenant in Aleppo.
Jaysh al-Fath announced yesterday to start the large-scale military operation to lift the siege of the city, achieving significant progress amid rapid collapses in the ranks of the al-Assad's forces and allied militias.
In Aleppo, the “national defense” militias are fighting alongside the al-Assad's forces and Hezbollah , the Palestinian al-Quds Brigade, as well as Iraqi and Iranian militias supported by the Russian air force.
