Pakistan Scholars Council calls on supporting the Syrian people against the Russian "holy" war

ElDorar AlShamia:

Pakistan Scholars Council condemned, on Thursday, the Russian offensive on the liberated areas in Syria that killed dozens of civilians, calling on the nation's religion Scholars to respond to the allegations of the Orthodox Church as a “holy war” of aggression.
The council said in a statement issued today that the Russian strikes are not targeting IS group as Moscow announced rather than they target " moderate factions those fight the butcher Bashar al-Assad," according to the saying.
The Council explained that the aim of this aggression is represented by the imposition of a savage gang Assad regime, in the words of the statement.
The Council called on the Islamic world, the free world, and every lover of Islam to condemn this barbaric aggression and solidarity with the Syrian people, as the solidarity with the Afghan people.
At the same time the statement calls on the Islamic world scholars to respond firmly on the head of the Orthodox Church in Russia, which describe what Russia is  doing in Syria as a"holy war".
The Council stressed that the Russian aggression "will not stop at the borders of the Levant", calling on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to an "immediate meeting; to take decisions and actions to deter directly, to stop the Russian aggression."
The Russian aircraft yesterday launched a fierce air campaign on civilian areas in rural Homs and Hama, killing at least 37 civilians and wounded dozens.
